Have you ever thought about what would happen if your contraception failed, or you forgot to use any at all?

help72 is a service from NHS Rotherham which offers free Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) to all women aged 13 and over in Rotherham.

The service aims to help women who are concerned about unplanned pregnancy by providing the correct treatment, advice and support.

Since the 15th December 2008 help72 has been available from accredited pharmacists as well as your Family Doctor/ GP, Contraceptive and Sexual Health Clinics (all women) and Youth Clinics (Under 25s).

Don't Forget: EHC is for occasional use only. It should not be relied upon as a regular method of contraception.

This website is here to help answer any questions you have about the service, from how it works, what will happen and where to get help and advice from. If you have any questions that are not answered on the site you can always contact us.

What is help72?

The service is funded by NHS Rotherham (the Primary Care Trust).

The service is commissioned by NHS Rotherham and provided by accredited community Pharmacists, Family Doctors/ GPs, CASH clinics and Youth Clinics.
